Gaanasudha is a Sugama sangeetha academy based in Rajajinagar in the garden city of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
All great things have humble beginnings, as they say. Gaanasudha was founded by Somasundaram during his student days. Lending him support in this initiative were his sisters, brothers and later on his wife and two daughters.

Derived from Sanskrit or Samskrita, the language of the gods, Gaana means Music and Sudha means Nectar or Amrutha. Thus Gaanasudha means the 'Nectar of music.'
